2Affordability Assessment — Section 82 NCA
In accordance with Section 82 of the National Credit Act, 2005 (NCA), Loans4All conducts a mandatory affordability assessment before granting any credit. This assessment is designed to ensure that the loan is not unsuitable for you and that you will be able to meet your repayment obligations without unreasonable hardship.
The affordability assessment considers:
- Your monthly income and verified sources of income.
- All existing debt obligations and monthly debt repayments across all creditors.
- Essential living expenses — housing, utilities, food, transport, and healthcare.
- Employment stability and employment history.
- Credit bureau records and historical repayment behavior.
- Credit stacking indicators — multiple simultaneous loans from different lenders.
3Credit Reporting & Credit Bureaus
Loans4All reports your loan account status to NCR-registered credit bureaus, including TransUnion South Africa and Experian. Your loan history will be recorded on your credit file, and this may impact your credit score and your ability to access future credit.
Information Reported to Credit Bureaus:
- Loan approval date and approved amount.
- Monthly repayment amounts and due dates.
- Payment history — on-time payments and late payments.
- Loan status — active, fully settled, or defaulted.

- We aim to resolve all complaints within 20 business days. If resolution takes longer, we will provide regular updates on progress.

6Right to Cancel Your Application
You have the right to cancel your loan application at any time before loan funds are disbursed to your bank account. No cancellation fee applies. However, once funds have been transferred to your bank account, cancellation requires immediate return of the full loan amount plus any accrued interest up to the date of return.
7Interest Rate Disclosure — NCR Regulated
The interest rate charged on your Loans4All payday loan is regulated by the National Credit Regulator and is fully disclosed in your loan agreement before you accept the loan. The rate is fixed for the full 30-day loan term and will not change. The exact approved rate is disclosed in your loan agreement at the time of application. No hidden interest charges apply.
8National Debt Review Registry
If you are currently in a debt review process with a registered debt counselor, you are not eligible to access Loans4All's payday loan service. This is a legal requirement under the National Credit Act — no new credit may be granted to a consumer under debt review. If you are unsure of your debt review status, contact your debt counselor directly or check the National Debt Review Registry at www.ncr.org.za.
9Your Right to Know Your Credit Score
You have the right to request a free copy of your credit report from any NCR-registered credit bureau. You are entitled to one free credit report per calendar year from each bureau. Knowing your credit score and understanding what's on your report is essential to managing your financial health.

10Warning: Credit Stacking — National Credit Act Compliance
Loans4All strongly advises against taking multiple loans from different lenders simultaneously — a practice known as credit stacking, which is regulated under the National Credit Act. Credit stacking:
- Makes it impossible to afford all repayments simultaneously.
- Leads to default and severe, long-term credit damage.
- May result in legal action and involvement of debt collection agencies.
Our affordability assessment specifically screens for credit stacking indicators. If detected, your loan application will be denied. This is a legal compliance requirement, not a discretionary decision.
11Your Consumer Rights & Protections
Under the National Credit Act, 2005 and the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013, you have the following rights as a consumer:
- Right to Know: You have the right to receive a full copy of your loan agreement and a clear explanation of all terms, interest rates, fees, and obligations before you accept.
- Right to Withdraw: You may cancel your loan application at any time before funds are disbursed, at no cost. Note that the statutory 5-business-day cooling-off right in section 121 of the NCA applies to certain instalment sale and lease agreements, not to an ordinary 30-day cash credit agreement of the kind we offer — so your cancellation rights here are the ones described in section 6 above, not a statutory cooling-off period.
- Right to Privacy: Your personal information is protected under POPIA. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
- Right to Fair Collection: Loans4All complies with fair debt collection practices. We will not use harassment, threats, or unfair tactics in any collection process.
- Right to Dispute: You may dispute any charge, claim, or decision related to your loan. We will investigate and respond within the timeframes disclosed above.
12Debt Review & Debt Removal Services
Loans4All also offers companion services to help consumers recover from credit difficulties:
- DIY Debt Management Plan: R499 once-off — Step-by-step guidance for managing your existing debt independently and creating a workable repayment plan via WhatsApp (keyword: "DIY").
